Pick-Up Truck Driver, Crane Operator Killed In Fiery I-83 Crash: Maryland State Police Two people were killed in a crash involving a pick-up truck and mobile crane that shut down in Baltimore County on Wednesday afternoon. Shortly after 2 p.m. on Oct. 23, Maryland State Police troopers were called to the northbound lanes of the interstate in Sparks Glencoe when the pick-up hauling a trailer was traveling southbound on I-83 when for unknown reasons, lost control, crossed over into the northbound lanes, and struck a mobile crane.
