A former Massachusetts elementary school music teacher has been found guilty of raping a fifth-grade student multiple times inside the classroom more than 10 years ago.
Hampshire County resident Stephen Jaszek, age 66, of South Hadley, was found guilty on Thursday, May 12, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early, Jr.

Victim Dies 7 Months After Being Shot; Suspected Shooter Held Without Bail
The victim of a summertime shooting has just died, according to the Worcester County District Attorney, and a suspect in the man’s death has been arraigned in court.
Jose A. Merced, 32, of Worcester, was arrested Saturday, Jan. 30, about 13 hours after the shooting victim had died, DA Joseph D. Early, Jr., said in a statement.
The initial violence took place on July 9 around 5 p.m. on Mount Pleasant Street. This is where Worcester Police found a man, Luis Tiru-Romero, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his chest and head, according to MassLive.

Suspect In Fatal Shooting Over Restaurant Bill Indicted
An indictment has been handed down in regards to a 21-year-old man who lost his life this summer, allegedly, over how to split up a restaurant bill.
On Monday, Sept. 21, Leroy Thompson, Jr., 24, of Worcester, was indicted on the charges of murder, reckless endangerment, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and possession of ammunition with an FID card, said the Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D.
