Toddler Dies After Being Removed From Home Of Mass Lieutenant Facing Child Rape Charges: DA A 2-year-old who was found unresponsive at the Winthrop home of a police lieutenant facing child rape and indecent assault charges has died, officials said. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of the toddler’s death, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
