That’s around the same time his wife won a $1 million jackpot in the lottery. Thomas Ensko, of Blackstone, claimed the seven-figure jackpot after correctly guessing five of the "Mega Millions" numbers in the multi-state drawing on Tuesday, June 11. $100,000 Lottery Ticket Sold In Athol Two Bay Staters had a very lucky Thursday, June 6, when they collected $100,000 checks for playing the Massachusetts State Lottery.  Both winners correctly guessed all five numbers in the Mass Cash drawing. Those were: 3, 10, 15, 16, 21.  The winners' names were not released.  The winning tickets were sold at Andy's Walnut Mart at 36 Walnut St. in Peabody and Country Convenience at 216 S Main St. in Athol.  The stores will receive a $1,000 bonus for the sale.  There were 579 winners who collected $600 or more in the state lotter…

$1M Lottery Win: Northbridge Mom Planning Surprise Trip With Her Kids A Worcester County mom had one thing to say after winning $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery: "I'm going to Disney World!" Lisa Smith, of Northbridge, won the seven-figure sum playing the “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” $10 scratch-off game.  She chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity. She plans to buy herself a new car and take her two children to Disney World with the cash.  Smith bought the ticket at Cumberland Farms, 2222 Providence Road in Northbridge. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Lottery Jackpot: Spencer Man Wins $10K A Month For 10 Years Randy Whitney of Spencer just earned a six-figure salary for the next 10 years from the Massachusetts State Lottery.  Whitney will receive a monthly stipend of $10,000. Whitney chose to take the first year's prize money in a lump sum — $120,000 before taxes.  He won playing the "Decade of Dollars," a $5 scratch-off ticket game.   Whitney purchased the winning ticket at Xpress Mart at 94 Main St. in Spencer. The store will receive a $12,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.
