Police agencies throughout Massachusetts and parts of New Hampshire took part in a three-year-long operation that ended with dozens of raids on Tuesday, Dec. 6, and more than 20 people arrested.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan announced the busts during a press conference where she announced that police had also seized 11 guns, hundreds of grams of cocaine, large amounts of methamphetamines, fentanyl, and Xanax, and more than $100,000 in cash in 32 raids.

Joint Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Worcester-Area Gun, Drug Trafficker
Police have arrested a 24-year-old man who investigators believe is a high-impact trafficker of drugs and firearms.
Luis Ortiz, from Worcester, Massachusetts and Putnam, Connecticut, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 17, at a home in Worcester following an investigation.
Police said Ortiz was charged with gun and narcotics offenses, including the illegal sale of firearms, ammunition, and fentanyl.
The investigation into Ortiz's activities began in January after troopers received information that he was illegally in possession of firearms, authorities said.

Undercover Officer Busted Child Pornographer; Many Victims Under 12
A Fitchburg man has admitted to making and distributing child pornography with numerous victims younger than 12 years old.
He was caught due to an undercover officer.
Ryan Decarolis, 27, of Fitchburg, pleaded guilty on Monday, Sept. 21, in U.S. District Court, to five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of distribution of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts.
