Monday, April 11 was a lucky night for 16 lottery players who all won $100,000 in a Keno game drawing, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.  The following day, 11 of the winners picked up their checks. Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash In Tyngsborough Claims One Life: Police One person is dead following a multi-car crash in Tyngsborough, authorities said.  Police responded to the crash at 147 Frost Road around 3:47 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, Tyngsborough Police Chief Richard Howe said in a release. Upon arrival, officers found what appeared to be a head-on collision between a Toyota Tundra, carrying four people, and a Toyota Corolla, carrying three people.  Two people from the Corolla were flown to Massachusetts General Hospital and the third person was taken to Lowell General Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Covid-19: Worcester Is On Newest List Of 'High-Risk' Communities The people of Worcester are at high-risk of catching COVID-19, according to new information from the state. On Wednesday, Sept. 16, Massachusetts released an updated COVID-19 map showing where the “hot-spots” or areas with high infection rates are located. Worcester has made the state's “red” list, so named for the state’s color-coded risk assessment. Red is reserved for the communities with the highest risk of COVID-19 infection.
