Head-On Crash: 2 Adults Killed, Pair Of Children Survive In Tolland County A woman crossed double-yellow lines while driving around a bend and crashed headfirst into another vehicle, killing both herself and the other driver, police say.  In Tolland County, 66-year-old Amanda Josephine Bowen, of Coventry, was heading northbound on Merrow Road in the town of Tolland when she drove into the other lane of traffic and into a Subaru Legacy Outback, according to the Connecticut State Police.  The driver of the Subaru, 64-year-old Bryan Flint of the town of Ellington in Tolland County, suffered fatal injuries. Woman From Region Among 2 Hospitalized After Serious Crash State police are seeking witnesses to a serious injury Fairfield County crash that left a man and woman hospitalized. The crash took place around 8:20 p.m., Monday, Aug. 15 in Shelton. According to state police, a Toyota RAV4 was traveling in the right lane of two on Route 8 southbound with a Honda motorcycle following directly behind approximately one-quarter of a mile north of Exit 12.  The crash occurred when the motorcycle collided with the rear of the Toyota, sending the motorcyclist flying off the vehicle and landing on the right shoulder, police said.
