Missing: Man From Region Hasn't Been Seen In 12 Days, Police Say Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help locating a missing man who has not been seen in 12 days. Hartford County resident Peter Norris, age 28, of Bristol, was reported missing to the Bristol Police Department by his mother on Tuesday, Sept. 5. He has not been seen since Friday, Sept. 1. His last known contact was in Litchfield County in Thomaston, Det. Chris Cote of the Bristol Poice said. Norris is described as being 6-foot-1, 230 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Skeletal Remains Found In Wooded Area In Region ID'd As 20-Year-Old Woman Skeletal remains found in a wooded area in northern Connecticut have been identified as a 20-year-old woman, according to state police. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified the remains found in Litchfield County in December as Brianna Beam, according to an announcement from Connecticut State Police on Thursday, Feb. 17. Beam was known to have ties to the Waterbury, Thomaston, and Bristol areas, and the State of Rhode Island, police said. Teacher From Region Accused Of Sexual Abuse Of Students A teacher at a Fairfield County military academy has been charged with allegedly sexually abusing two students. Litchfield County resident Samantha Peck, of Thomaston, a teacher at the Bridgeport Military Academy, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 8, by Bridgeport Police. According to Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport, Peck was arrested on two warrants, each charging her with sexual assault. Peck was released after posting a $100,000 bond. Appleby said the investigations are ongoing and the names of the victims have been withheld.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 18 in Litchfield County. According to Connecticut State Police, the victim, Nicholas Donahue, of Thomaston, was driving northbound in the Town of Litchfield on Old Northfield Road when a second vehicle, attached with a rear mowing trailer, entered a grass field from the east side of the roadway.
