'I'm Never Going Back' Police Call In Backup To Arrest Suspect In Attempted Murder Believing the suspect had made statements like “I’m never going back to prison,” police called in extra backup for the arrest of a Gardner man accused of attempted murder. Ramon Baez, 33, of Gardner was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 11, outside of the Super 8 hotel in Gardner, Massachusetts State Police said. Baez is a suspect in the Aug. 2 shooting of a 30-year-old Fitchburg man between 2 Pritchard Street and Fitchburg Place Apartments, police said.
