MA Man Gave Teen Girl Drugs, Alcohol Before Sexually Assaulting Her, Prosecutor Says An 18-year-old Massachusetts man is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old New Jersey girl after giving her drugs and alcohol, authorities said. Wolide Yessuf, of Cambridge, met the girl over social media in March, Hudson County, New Jersey Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Yessuf and another girl came to North Bergen County motel in New Jersey March, where he provided the victim with drugs and alcohol before sexually assaulting her, Suarez said. Woman Charged In Death Of Her 1-Year-Old Grandchild A grandmother has been arrested in connection with the death of her 1-year-old grandchild. Cora Brandon, age 60, of Danbury, was arrested by Danbury Police on Wednesday, May 26, for the Wednesday, March 17, death of the child. The investigation into the death began when the Danbury Police Department were summoned to the Danbury Hospital for the untimely passing of the child, said Det. Lt. Mark Williams. Former Massachusetts Cop Convicted In Child Sex Abuse Case A former Western Mass cop has been sentenced to two to three years in prison after being found guilty of several counts in connection with a child sex abuse case, Hampden County resident Daniel Cintron, age 31, of Monson, a former Springfield police officer, had been found guilty in a jury-waived trial in Hampden Superior Court on charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and intimidation of a witness.
