Missing Saugus Senior With Dementia Found Safe: Police UPDATE: Saugus Police said Thai Tran was located safe. The Saugus Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing senior with dementia who may have taken a cab from his home.  Thai Tran, age 78, was last seen near his home in the area of Eastern Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, police said.  Authorities believe Tran may have travelled to Revere then took a cab to Somerville. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 781-233-1740.

Three MA Police Officers 'Stabbed,' 'Slashed' In Incident An armed suspect has allegedly "stabbed" and "slashed" three police officers with a knife. On the morning of Thursday, Aug. 6, three Saugus police officers responding to a situation on Tuttle Street were injured by a suspect with a knife, police said. The officers were transported to a Boston hospital and are expected to survive, police said. The suspect was taken into custody, police said.
