WalletHub released its 2021 ranking of public school systems in all 50 states and the District of Columbia on Monday, July 26.  The site said researchers did not just focus on academic performance. MA, CT Public Schools Get Highest Grades In Nation Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Jersey have the best public school systems in the United States, according to a new education report. EdWeek Research Center’s annual “Quality Counts” report grades each state’s public school system on a scale of A to F. The ranking takes into account student success, school finances and student achievement then awards a score on a scale of 1 to 100 (the higher the score, the better the letter grade).
