ID Released For Fatal Stabbing Victim; Western Mass Officers Nab Suspect
Police in Hampden County identified the man stabbed in broad daylight last week in Chicopee and said they found the man who wielded the knife.
Maurice Crump, 24, was found bleeding out in the 90 block of West Street around 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6, Chicopee police said. Paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, but doctors could not save his life.
Alex Ramos, 21, of Chicopee, was arrested days later and charged with Crump's murder and one count of misleading police, authorities said.

An overnight search on Monday, Jan. 9 led to the discovery of multiple items that police will process and test to see if the items are of value as evidence to the missing woman's case, according to the Norfolk District Attorney.
