Injured Mass Man Rescued From Mount Washington After Fall On Hiking Trail
Rescuers had to climb up the tallest mountain in New England to save a Massachusetts man who had been injured from a fall, authorities said. The incident happened on Wednesday, Sept. 27 around 2:30 p.m., when 64-year-old Essex County resident Michael Harvey of Methuen was injured while hiking alone with his dog on the Tuckerman Ravine Trail in Sargent’s Purchase, New Hampshire.
