TGI Fridays Closing These 6 'Underperforming' Massachusetts Restaurants
TGI Fridays is closing nearly 30 "underperforming" locations across the northeast and will sell eight restaurants to the chain's former CEO, the chain said in a news release. The 27 closures include restaurants in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. A brand-new mother misled police about the location of her newborn child, leaving the baby alone in the woods for nearly an hour, according to officials. Police were alerted that a woman had given birth in the woods near an ice rink in Manchester, NH on Monday, Dec. 26 around 12:40 a.m., according to Manchester Police Department. Officials located the mother, 26-year-old Alexandra Eckersley, who withheld the baby's location for nearly an hour. A Lowell man who drove against traffic on the interstate got busted for more than just reckless driving, after cops discovered the man was intoxicated and was transporting drugs in his car, authorities said. Nikhl Israni, 22, was driving southbound on I-293 North around 1 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23 when cops were called to the scene, New Hampshire State Police announced. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has joined in the search for a 16-year-old girl reported missing from Raynham last week who could be in danger. The identities have been released for the three people killed when an SUV traveling the wrong way on a busy stretch of Interstate 84 crashed into another vehicle, according to authorities.
