Dog Shot By Lunenburg Police To Save Man's Life A pit bull dog was shot by police in central Massachusetts to save the life of a 75-year-old who was left seriously injured after the dog attacked him, authorities said.  Lunenburg police arrived at the town's animal control center just before noon on Monday, Aug. 1., the department said. Son Gets 13 Years In Prison For Selling Fatal Drug-Dose; Father Pleads Not Guilty A city man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for his role in an alleged father-son drug dealing team that sold a lethal dose of fentanyl in Massachusetts. On Wednesday, Dec. 2, Anthony Baez, 32, of Fitchburg, was sentenced to 156 months in prison and 5 years of supervised release by U.S. District Court Judge Timothy S. Hillman. Baez had pleaded guilty to a raft of drug dealing charges in July, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts.
