A Springfield man who was accused of sexually abusing a Holyoke child for two years will spend the next 13 to 15 years behind bars, officials announced on Monday, June 12. Frederick Pinney, the Springfield man whose case has been tied up in legal limbo for nearly a decade, found out his fate on Friday, March 10: nine to 10 years behind bars. A jury convicted Pinney of manslaughter on Monday.
