Fatal Shooting Victim ID'd In Springfield; 1 of 4 Gunned Down In City Last Week Police identified the man shot and killed on Thursday, Aug. 10, in Springfield's South End. He is one of four people gunned down in the city last week.  Gary White, 25, of Springfield, was shot just after 1:30 a.m. in the 500 block of East Columbus Avenue, Springfield police said.
