Kidnapping, Murder: Woman Admits To Role In 2020 Killing Of Western Mass Father Of 3
A Connecticut woman pleaded guilty Tuesday, June 6, to helping cover up the kidnap and murder of a Massachusetts man on Christmas Eve 2020, federal authorities said. Hartford County resident Shamari Smith, 34, of Manchester, faces up to three years after admitting to misprision of felony in the kidnap and killing of Francisco "Paco" Roman, the US Attorney for Connecticut said. Charlene Casey Sentenced To Year In Jail In Death Of 2-Year-Old Colin McGrath
Charlene Casey, the South Boston woman found guilty of negligent motor vehicle homicide in the death of toddler Colin McGrath, was sentenced to a year in prison on Thursday. Though, she will only spend 60 days behind bars as the judge suspended the remainder of the sentence. A former Western Mass cop has been sentenced to two to three years in prison after being found guilty of several counts in connection with a child sex abuse case, Hampden County resident Daniel Cintron, age 31, of Monson, a former Springfield police officer, had been found guilty in a jury-waived trial in Hampden Superior Court on charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and intimidation of a witness.
