6 Western Mass Teens Held Mock 'Slave Auction,' Made Racist Comments On Social Media: DA Six Hampden County eighth-grade students have been charged in juvenile court after chat logs were discovered where they made threats against minority students, used racist slurs, shared racist memes and comments, and held a mock "slave auction" for two black classmates, authorities said.  Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni held a press conference on Thursday, March 14, explaining his decision to charge the Southwick Regional School students. 29-Year-Old Boston Man Charged In Homophobic Beating At MBTA Station: DA A 29-year-old Boston man faces civil rights and assault charges after authorities said he attacked a caused a man head injuries during a beating earlier this month at an MBTA station.  Aiyoub Alsallak is accused of shouting homophobic slurs at two men at Andrew Station platform on Sept. 5 just before 9 p.m., the Suffolk County District Attorney's office said. An award of $250,000 will be split three ways: a third of the money will go to the woman’s lawyer, about $112,000 goes to the baby, and the rest of the money will be given to the mother once she has served her sentence, according to the Associated Press.
