UConn President Thomas Katsouleas Resigns University of Connecticut President Thomas Katsouleas has submitted his resignation, effective as of next month. Katsouleas, who was selected as president of UConn in February 2019, notified the school’s Board of Trustees that he will resign as president at the end of his current contract, which concludes as of Wednesday, June 30. Before taking over for Susan Herbst as the 16th president of UConn, Katsouleas served as a vice president and provost of the University of Virginia.
