Mass Sex Offender Admits To Having 5,000 Child Porn Files, Mutilated Dolls: Feds A Billerica registered sex offender has pleaded guilty to possessing more than 5,000 of child sexual abuse material that featured children as young as infants being abused, federal authorities said.  Eric Robert Johnson, 50, a lifetime Level 2 sex offender, admitted to one count of child porn possession Monday, Jan. 29, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. Community 'Heartbroken' After Mass Woman Killed By Shark In Bahamas Coworkers and friends of the 44-year-old Massachusetts woman who was killed by a shark while on vacation in the Bahamas say they are heartbroken and shocked by her death.  Lauren Van Wart, of Lowell, located northwest of Boston, was attacked by a shark on Monday, Dec. 4, about a mile from Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort while she was paddleboarding with a relative, the Royal Bahamas Police Force said.  Van Wart worked at Curriculum Associates, an educational material company in Billerica. Rob Waldron, CEO of the company, said she was a beloved member of the company.  …

North MA Truck Driver Killed At Conley Terminal In Boston, Police Say A truck driver has died in a pedestrian-involved crash in Boston's Seaport district, authorities said.  Police responded to a crash at Conley Terminal around 11:41 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, Massachusetts State Police said.  Initial investigation revealed that a 72-year-old man from Revere was pulling a trailer into the Terminal when he struck a 41-year-old man from Billerica, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.  The cause of the crash is under investigation. No other information was released.
