NH Teen ID'd As Driver Killed In Wild Crash That Sent Engine Through Western Mass Home
The 19-year-old who died in a police chase that ended in a spectacular crash in Hampshire County Sunday, Aug. 20, has been identified as a man from Henniker, New Hampshire. Miles Murray was behind the wheel of the speeding car when it lost control, left the road, and went airborne in Belchertown just before 9 p.m., sending pieces of the vehicle's engine through a nearby home, Belchertown police said. Ex-Western Mass Police Lt. Admits To Secretly Recording Women, Avoids Jailtime
A former Belchertown police lieutenant in Hampshire County admitted to secretly filming women as they got undressed in his home for years, authorities said. Michael Beaupre, 38, an ex-Belchertown officer, was sentenced to two years of probation on Tuesday, June 6, after he pleaded guilty to eight counts of photographing an unsuspecting nude person, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office announced. One Killed In Massachusetts Crash
One person was killed during a single-vehicle crash in Western Mass. It happened in Hampshire County around 5 p.m. Monday, May 2 in Belchertown. When officers responded to the scene at 606 North Washington St., the driver, the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene, said the Belchertown Police. The identity of the victim is not being disclosed at this time. The crash is under investigation by the Belchertown Police, the state police, and the Northwestern District Attorney's Office. ID Released For Man Killed In Fatal Crash Involving Worcester County Woman
The identity has been released of the person who was killed after a two-vehicle crash in Western Massachusetts. It happened in Hampshire County around 2:10 p.m. Saturday, May 15 in Belchertown, and involved an SUV and a motorcycle, according to Massachusetts State Police. The crash occurred on Route 9 near the intersection of Ware Road and Enoch Sanford Road. One Killed In Single-Vehicle Massachusetts Crash
One person is dead after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Western Massachusetts. It happened in Hampshire County around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 in Belchertown in the area of 102 Amherst Road. When crews arrived on the scene, they found a 37-year-old Belchertown man had failed to negotiate a curve in the road and hit a guardrail, said Belchertown Police Chief Christopher Pronovost.
