29-Year-Old Man From Athol Killed In Weekend Pedestrian Crash: DA
A 29-year-old man from Athol has died after he was hit by a car in Central Massachusetts this past weekend, according to officials. The man was struck by a vehicle traveling on Route 202 near 150 Daniel Shays Highway just before 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office reports. The driver, a 20-year-old Athol resident, and passenger got out of the car to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, the DA's Office said. The crash is under investigation.

Mansfield Man Arrested For Assault Hit With Animal Cruelty Charge: Police
A 29-year-old man from Mansfield was hit with two charges while being arrested for one offense, authorities said. Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance to an address on North Main Street around 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, Mansfield Police said on Facebook. That is where officers arrested the man and charged him with assault and battery on an intimate partner. Further investigation revealed the man severely beat the victim's cat as well. 29-Year-Old Hartford Man Injured In Shooting, Police Report
Authorities are investigating after a 29-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Connecticut. Officers responded to the area of 679 Blue Hills Ave. in Hartford on a Shot Spotter activation at about 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, according to the Hartford Police Department. Police said officers found a Hartford man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was conscious and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Man Dies After Being Hit By Two Vehicles In Worcester County
A 29-year-old Western Massachusetts man died after being struck by two vehicles on I-190, State Police said. The man, a Franklin County resident from the Town of Orange, was walking near the median strip on the northbound side of the interstate after getting a flat tire in Sterling shortly after 9 p.m on Thursday, April 15.
