On Wednesday, Sept. 9, Milford Public School District second-grade teacher Vincent Kiejzo, 33, was charged with possession of child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts. He has been with the district for seven years.
Kiejzo had many other opportunities to come in contact with children, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He was also a swim instructor for the past 19 years through the Milford Community School Use Program.
From 2008-2012, Kiejzo provided “one-on-one” behavioral analysis support for children on the autism spectrum, he said in his professional profile.
Kiejzo says he’s a “certified pool and spa operator” and lifeguard instructor.
He also co-founded the Milford Massachusetts Foundation for Education.
Kiejzo possessed about 6,000 images of apparent child pornography on a thumb drive, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. Some of the photos were of prepubescent children - children under age 12.
If found guilty, Kiejzo faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
People with questions about the case should call (617) 748-3274, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
