Triple Trouble: Family Gets Combative With Troopers After Wrong-Way Stop In Region, Cops Say Three relatives were arrested following a wrong-way traffic stop on a Connecticut highway in which the women allegedly became combative with troopers. The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. Monday, April 22, on I-84 in Hartford. Connecticut State Police said a trooper was responding to a crash near Exit 46 when they saw a Jeep going westbound in the eastbound lanes.  The Jeep then drove off the roadway into a grassy area before turning around to face east. Chicopee Pedestrian Killed Crossing Street: Police A man was killed Thursday, Feb. 16, while crossing the road in Chicopee, authorities said.  The man, whose name was not released, was hit just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Chicopee and Florence streets, Chicopee police said in a Facebook post. Western Mass Driver Critical After Brutal Attack By Dirt Bikers, ATV Drivers, Police Say A Western Massachusetts man is in critical condition after being assaulted by a large group of dirt bikers and ATV drivers following a small traffic mishap. The incident took place around 9:30 p.m., Monday, July 5, near the X intersection when the driver came in contact with one of the dirt bikes tires at a stoplight, said Springfield Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood at a press conference.
