20-Year-Old Killed In CT Crash Involving Massachusetts Resident
A 20-year-old was killed after slamming into the back of a tractor-trailer on a busy Connecticut roadway, police said. The crash took place in New Haven County around 8:30 p.m. near Exit 23 on I-84 in Waterbury. According to state police, both vehicles were traveling westbound when a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Fairfield County resident Zachary James Carlson, of Danbury, failed to slow down due to traffic and struck the rear of the tractor-trailer. Massachusetts State Police Cruiser Struck By Tractor-Trailer
A Massachusetts state trooper was seriously injured after being struck by a tractor-trailer while protecting a road construction crew. The incident took place around 11:44 p.m., Tuesday, Sept.. 28 on I-95 southbound near its intersection with the Mass Pike in Weston in Middlesex County. According to Dave Procopio, of the state police, the trooper was inside his cruiser when it was struck. Two Extricated From Vehicle After Crash With Tractor-Trailer In Western Mass
A driver and passenger had to be extricated from their vehicle after being involved in an early-morning crash with a tractor-trailer in Western Massachusetts. Massachusetts State Police and officers from the Chicopee Police Department responded to a crash on Route 291 shortly after 2 a.m. on Friday, May 7, when the car struck a tractor-trailer.
