Central Massachusetts Woman Injured In Daytime Knife Attack By Familiar Duo Two women were arrested after attacking and injuring another woman, who authorities said they knew, with a knife in Central Massachusetts.  Police responded to a report of an assault at 18 Julio Drive in Shrewsbury around 12:13 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, Shrewsbury Police said on Facebook.  Upon arrival, officers learned two other women attacked the victim with a knife and physically assaulted her. 30-Year-Old Man Dies After Falling From Bridge In Massachusetts, Police Say A 30-year-old man has died after falling off the Burns Bridge in Shrewsbury, authorities said. An off-duty officer, who was on a boat in Lake Quinsigamond, called police about a male in the water near Belmont Street around 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, Shrewsbury Police said.  Rescue crews recovered the man's body and was later taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim's name was not released. The investigation is ongoing.

Jihyun Lee and her daughter were discovered around 7:30 a.m., Friday, March 19 inside their Shrewsbury home, said Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. Lee was rushed to UMass Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Man Found Guilty Of Raping, Kidnapping Woman At Massachusetts Motel A 41-year-old man has been convicted of kidnapping and raping a woman at a motel in Shrewsbury after a jury-waived trial in Worcester Superior Court. Edward Lacey of Worcester was found guilty on Friday, March 19 of kidnapping, two counts of rape, three counts of indecent assault and battery, strangulation, threat to commit a crime, and assault and battery. He was found not guilty of assault with intent to murder. Judge David Ricciardone presided over the four-day trial. The judge set Thursday, April 1 for sentencing.
