Teen, 16, Dies In Dirt Bike Crash In Springfield
A 16-year-old boy was killed Wednesday night, Nov. 29, after they crashed their dirt bike in Springfield. The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Plumtree Road when the rider hit a curb and a Department of Public Works sign, Springfield police said. Paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, where he died of his injuries, police said. The teen's name was not released because of his age. Springfield police are investigating the crash.

Springfield police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 15-year-old girl. Malayiah Daniels ran away from her home on Plumtree Road on April 17 and hasn't been seen since, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds. She may be in the area around Springfield Central High School, Boston Road, or Greenfield, police said. Investigators ask anyone with information on her disappearance to contact Springfield police at 413-787-6360 or 413-787-6300.

Woman, Man Nabbed For Shooting Paintballs At Random People In Western Mass, Police Say
A woman already on federal probation and a man are facing charges for allegedly randomly firing paintballs at people exercising in Western Massachusetts, authorities announced. The incident was reported Monday, July 12 in Hampden County. The Springfield Police Department received the report at approximately 1:30 p.m. from a person who said she had been shot by a paintball gun while walking along Breckwood Boulevard by a shooter in a moving pick-up truck.
