Support Floods In For Suffolk Deputy Who Got Life-Threatening Diagnosis Days Before Christmas A Suffolk County corrections officer who suffered a series of seizures over the holidays is now recovering after undergoing a lengthy surgery to remove a mass found on his brain. Deputy Jonathan Corey, 37, has worked with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department since November 2011 and is assigned the South Bay House of Correction at Bradston Street.
