Cape Cod Toddler Attacked By Dog Airlifted To Boston Hospital A 2-year-old child is undergoing emergency treatment at a Boston hospital after they were attacked by a dog on Sunday, March 31, authorities announced.  Wellfleet police said a pit bull mix bit the toddler just after 2 p.m. at a home on East Hill Road.  Paramedics rushed the child to Cape Cod Gateway Airport, where a MedFlight pilot awaited to take them to Boston.  The child's injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police did not say how the dog was connected to the child.

1-Year-Old Boy Killed By Family Dogs In Region A 1-year-old Connecticut boy died after being attacked by two family dogs. The incident took place in East Hartford in a home on Fuller Avenue around 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 13. According to East Hartford Police Officer Marc Caruso, officers responded to the home where they found the boy had been bitten several times by a dog. The police and fire department personnel on the scene performed lifesaving measures, and the child was transported to the hospital by ASM, Caruso said. The boy later died at the hospital, he added. Worcester DA Honors Lunenburg Police Officer Who Saved Man From Pitbull Attack The Lunenburg police officer who saved a 75-year-old man from certain death after a dog attacked him for no reason earlier this year was honored for his bravery and quick thinking.  Wayne Comeau was at the Lunenburg Animal Control office when one of the dogs attacked him. Comeau's wife is the town's animal control officer. Dog Shot By Central Massachusetts Police To Save Man's Life A pit bull dog was shot by police in central Massachusetts to save the life of a 75-year-old who was left seriously injured after the dog attacked him, authorities said.  Lunenburg police arrived at the town's animal control center just before noon on Monday, Aug. 1., the department said. Unleashed Pit Bulls Attack Cockapoo At North Shore Park; Owner Sought By Police Lynn Police are seeking the public's help in locating several dogs and their owner who were allegedly behind a vicious attack of another dog last weekend. A resident was walking her 11-year-old, 18-pound Cockapoo at Lynn Woods Playground when a male suspect walked past with his three unleashed Pit Bulls, Lynn Police said.
