Blake Scanlon Given Life In Prison For Stabbing Girlfriend To Death: DA Blake Scanlon, the 27-year-old Westfield man found guilty of killing his girlfriend, will spend the rest of his life in prison following his conviction last week.  A judge sentenced Scanlon to life without parole for the 2019 stabbing of Alexis Avery, the Hampden County District Attorney said on Tuesday, April 2.
