3 Students From Universities In Connecticut ID'd As Victims Of 2-Car Sheffield Crash

Authorities have identified the three people who died following a two-car crash in Western Massachusetts.

The victims were identified as Prem Kumar Reddy Goda, age 27, Pavani Gullapally, age 22, and Sai Narasimha Patamsetti, age 22, the Berkshire District Attorney's Office reports. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. 

Authorities determined all three were international students from India who were studying in Connecticut at either the University of New Haven or Sacred Heart University in the town of Fairfield.

The crash occurred when a northbound Toyota Sienna and a southbound Chevrolet Silverado collided in Sheffield on Route 7 near Pike Road around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25. 

Meanwhile four more people inside the Sienna, two 22-year-olds and two 23-year-olds, were taken to Berkshire Medical Center for treatment. They are also international students, according to the DA's Office. 

The driver of the Silverado, a 46-year-old man, was taken to Fairview Medical Center for treatment as well.
