Mark Wahlberg Bags Groceries In Quincy 'Where The Hustle Started' Marky Mark returned to where it all began and took his fans on a tour of the Quincy grocery store where he got his first paycheck, making only $3.65 an hour. Mark Wahlberg talked his followers through his time at a Stop & Shop in Quincy in a post made on Tuesday, April 11, according to his Instagram account.  He started working at the Stop & Shop in 1998 as a grocery bagger, he said.
