Bomb Hoax At Boston Children's Hospital Comes As Facility Is Under Attack A bomb threat Tuesday night, Aug. 30, sent Children's Hospital into panic as the facility went into lockdown, and bomb squads scoured the building for any potentially explosive material. Thankfully it was a hoax, but it came as the facility is being attacked online and in the press.  The bomb threat was called into the hospital around 8 p.m., WCVB reported. Boston police set up a perimeter on surrounding streets and blocked anyone from entering the building.
