Constructor Worker Killed In Rock Crusher Accident At Swampscott Job Site: DA A worker was killed on Monday afternoon, July 17, following an accident at an Aggregate Industries job site at the Swampscott Quarry, authorities said.  Workers at the facility called 911 around 1 p.m. to report an incident involving a rock crusher suspended above the quarry at the 30 Danvers Road site. The worker was pronounced dead at the scene, and their name is being withheld until their next of kin can be notified.  Swampscott police, Mine Safety and Health Administration, and the Essex County District Attorney's Office is investigating the accident.

Touch Of Health Owner In Swampscott Accused Of Indecently Touching Patient: DA A Swampscott chiropractor turned himself over to police this week after a patient accused him of indecently assaulting her during a session earlier this year.  Dr. Ilan S. Amar, who owns A Touch of Health, was arraigned Tuesday, Dec. 20, on charges of indecent assault and battery and assault and battery, the Essex County District Attorney said. Swampscott High School Students Hospitalized From THC Products: Police Swampscott Police are warning residents about two incidents this week where high schoolers were sent to the hospital after ingesting THC products.  Both individuals had an adverse reactions to the products and needed medical attention after ingesting them, police said on Facebook.  "We encourage all parents and caretakers to check in with their children and have a conversation about the dangers of taking anything that is not prescribed or from an unknown origin," police said.  The exact amount of THC in certain products can be difficult to measure and therefore side extreme …
