Over 5,000 voters took part in a survey conducted by Taste of Massachusetts asking where to find the best beef patties in the Bay State. Five construction workers were trapped under a collapsed wall at a Middlesex County home, officials said. The wall fell at the construction site before 7:35 a.m. at 61 Dunster Road in Bedford, according to Bedford Police and Fire Departments. Former Littleton Police Chief Dies, 'His Legacy Will Live On'
A man who served his community for 37 years died after a long battle with cancer. Matthew King, who served as police chief in Littleton from 2014 to 2018, died on Monday, July 3 after a "courageous" battle with cancer at age 63, according to his obituary and the Littleton Police Department. A pizza restaurant chain that used to heavily populate the Greater Boston Area now has no traces to the region. Financial troubles have caused Flatbread Company to close their Bedford location after 18 years in business on Monday, June 26, according to the restaurant's website. Authorities in Western Massachusetts have announced an arrest in connection with a 1966 homicide of a 10-year-old girl. Donald Mars, age 73, of Bedford, was charged in connection with the death of Betty Lou Zukowski on Wednesday, Nov. 3, the Hampden County District Attorney's Office reports.
