Update: Firefighter Hospitalized While Battling 4-Alarm Boston Fire That Displaced 21 A two-and-a-half story house fire that rapidly progressed from the basement through the roof of a building injured a firefighter and displaced nine children and 12 adults, officials say.  The fire broke out in the basement of the wood-frame house located on 105 Cushing Avenue around 1:15 p.m., according to the Boston Fire Department.  A 3rd alarm has been ordered companies have been going thru multiple air bottles battling the fire.
