CBS Boston reported that the FBI working with Massachusetts State Police met with employees aboard the Norwegian Breakaway on Tuesday evening, Sept. 13, while it was docked at the Black Falcon Terminal in Boston.

"Their investigation revealed the alleged assault took place previously while the ship was making way somewhere between Providence and Boston," State Police spokesman Dave Procopio told the news station. "The suspect and victim are both employees of the ship."

Authorities did not release any other information. Norwegian Cruise Line has not commented on the investigation.
