Boston Driver May Have Fallen Asleep At Wheel, Causes Hour-Long Delays To MBTA Green Line

A 36-year-old man drove into MBTA train tracks after possibly falling asleep at the wheel, officials say.

A Boston man drove a silver Toyota SUV into the tracks of the MBTA Green Line at Packard's Corner in Boston on Sunday, April 23 around 5:00 p.m., according to MBTA Transit Police. 

The driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, officials said. 

No injuries were reported from the incident. The vehicle was towed away from the scene and service was restored after more than an hour in delays.
