William Lally, of Roslindale, won the seven-figure payday playing the "$5,000,000 100X Cashword" game.
It's the scratch-off game a woman in Berkshire County won a $5 million jackpot earlier this month.
Lally chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.
He bought the ticket at Roslindale Food Mart at 4443 Washington St. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
