The crash happened a little after 9 a.m. on Route 117 near Sweet Bay Lane when a Jeep Wrangler collided with a Chevy Silverado, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office said.
Paramedics rushed the woman behind the wheel of the Wrangler to Emerson Hospital, where she died of her wounds. The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Authorities have not released the deceased's name while they notify her next of kin.
Police closed Route 117 from Route 126 in Concord to the Lincoln town border for several hours as they cleaned, cleared, and investigated the scene.
The road is now back to normal traffic.
