1 Dead, 1 Critical After Central Mass Stabbing; 17-Year-Old In Custody A 20-year-old man is dead and a teenager is in critical condition following a stabbing Friday night, May 3, in Worcester County.  Police received a 911 call just before 9:30 p.m. for a report of multiple stabbing victims at the Town Common in Northbridge. Head-On Crash In Ashby Leaves Man, Woman Seriously Injured Two people are recovering from serious injuries following a head-on crash in the region. The Middlesex County wreck happened shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, in Ashby on Turnpike Road. Ashby Police said a 2003 Cadillac Escalade was driving westbound near Greenville Road when it crossed the centerline and struck a Ford pickup truck head-on. The impact left a 43-year-old Ashburnham woman trapped in the Escalade and a 58-year-old Townsend man stuck in the pickup truck. Construction Workers Injured After 25-Foot Fall In Marlborough: Fire Department Two construction workers were hospitalized after falling about 25 feet off scaffolding near the Marlborough Public Library, fire officials confirm to Daily Voice. Firefighters got a call reporting the fall around 8:25 a.m. on Friday Feb. 10, Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Emanuelson told Daily Voice.  Upon arrival, crews transported two male workers to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Emanuelson said. Both had significant but not life-threatening injuries.  The incident is under investigation by Marlborough Police and OSHA officials.
