'Unable To Attract Enough Customers': Wegmans Closing Natick Store This Summer
A lack of shoppers has become the downfall for one major location of a popular grocery store chain in Massachusetts. Wegmans announced on Thursday, June 1 that they are closing their Natick store, located at 1245 Worcester Street, this summer because the location has struggled to attract enough customers. : Missing Central Mass Teen Could Be In Worcester, Boston, Police Say
Police in Northborough are asking for the public's help to find a 15-year-old boy who went missing last week. Michael Davis Jr. disappeared around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, and hasn't been seen since, Northborough police said. He's described as 6 feet tall, weighing 150-170 pounds with a slim build, fair complexion and short red hair. Michael also has health conditions and there is concern for his well-being. Lowell High School Trainer Sexually Assaults Student Athletes: DA
An athletic trainer who used his position to inappropriately touch two underage female athletes, officials say. Damon Amato, 32, was arraigned last week on charges relating to three incidents of indecent assault and battery on persons over the age of fourteen, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office announced on Friday, Feb. 3. Amato, of Northborough, was working as an athletic trainer at Lowell High School when he allegedly touched the two teenagers inappropriately. The scheduling conference is planned for Friday, Feb. 17.

A Northborough man is facing up to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty to embezzling over $360,000 from a non-profit organization in Sturbridge, the US Attorney's Office for Massachusetts reports. Kyriakos "Rick" Kapiris, age 36, worked at the non-profit as an IT manager from April 2015 to May 2020. During his time there, Kapiris had access to two of the company's credit cards to pay for equipment and certain services, the office reports.
