'This Is A Tragic Day': Pastor ID'd As Woman Killed In Newburyport Crash A pastor who was to deliver a prayer at the State of the City Address in Newburyport in Essex County, Massachusetts, on Wednesday night, Feb. 28, has been identified as the person killed in a truck versus pedestrian crash, the city announced.  Rev. Fundraiser Began For Family Of Waltham Officer Paul Tracey A fundraiser has been created for the family of a Waltham police officer who was killed in the line of duty earlier this month in a hit-and-run crash that left another person dead and two others hospitalized.  Officer Paul Tracey was killed on Dec. 6 while managing traffic at a National Grid job site. Ford Recalls 870,000 F-150s Due To Potential Parking Brake Malfunction A potential parking brake malfunction has prompted the Ford Motor Company to issue a massive recall for its bestselling pickup truck. The recall covers 870,701 Ford F-150s made from January 2020 to February 2023. Trucks with the issue in which faulty brakes may turn on by themselves could see a warning light on the panel of the vehicle. In the affected vehicles, the rear axle wiring harness bundle may contact the rear axle housing, Ford said in its recall announcement. Hyundai Driver Dies In 2-Car Crash In North Reading: Police One person was killed in a two-car crash in North Reading this week, authorities said.  Police and fire responded to the crash at Park and Central Street around 1:40 p.m. on Friday, March 3, North Reading Police Chief Michael Murphy reports.  Upon arrival, officers found a collision between a Ford F-150 and Hyundai Elantra. The driver of the Elantra was taken to a Burlington hospital where they later died, Murphy said. The driver of the Ford was also taken to the hospital for treatment, Murphy added. The crash remains under investigation.
