Update: ID Released For Ipswich Man Who Drowned At Yacht Club Despite first responders' efforts to revive him, a man died in the water off of an Essex County island, officials say.  Richard P. Collins, a 72-year-old man from the Great Neck area of Ipswich, drowned on Wednesday, July 26 in the area of the Ipswich Bay Yacht Club's mooring area, located at 124 N. Ridge Road, according to the Ipswich Police Department.  Workers at the yacht club spotted a person in the Plum Island Sound and police were notified around 3 p.m. Police launched their marine unit and found the man, quickly bringing him back to shore. The family of Sidney Mae Olson said she was a "bright-eyed, energetic girl with springy curls."
