Long-Range Outlook Released: Here's What To Expect Through Memorial Day Weekend
A new long-range weather outlook released by the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center predicts temperature and precipitation trends through the end of the month. After two months of mainly seeing temperatures below normal for this time of year, temperatures through Friday, May 31 in the Northeast are expected to be near normal. Dreaming Of A White Christmas In Eastern Mass? It's Not Looking Good
Eastern Massachusetts residents hoping for a White Christmas likely aren't going to get their wish, according to the National Weather Service. In fact, it's going to be a warmer holiday than usual this year. Boston is already behind in its snowfall total this year with just 0.2 inches of flakes falling as of Monday, Dec. 11. Winter 2023-24 Forecast Released By NOAA National Weather Service
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Weather Service has just released its outlook for the winter of 2023-24.El Niño is in place heading into winter for the first time in four years, driving the outlook for warmer-than-average temperatures for the northern tier of the continental United States, according to NOAA’s US.
