Peabody Man Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Tree In Danvers A 34-year-old Peabody man was taken to a trauma center after crashing his SUV into a tree in Danvers.  The man, whose name was not released, went off the road about a half mile from the Route 62 exit of Route 1.  He was the only person in the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee.  Paramedics rushed him to Beverly Hospital and later to Lahey Hospital in Burlington.  A lane on Route 1 was closed for more than an hour as police cleaned, cleared, and investigated the crash.  It's unclear what caused the man to go off the road.
