Seen IT? Unfamiliar Car, Driver Who Tried Offering Natick Child Ride Home

Natick Police are asking the public to help them identify and potentially locate a car that approached a child and tried offering them a ride home. 

Police got a call from a resident on Robinhood Road saying that a person driving a tan sedan approached their child as they were walking home from their bus stop on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

The caller said the driver tried offering their child a ride home, according to Natick Police on Facebook. The caller also said their child did not know the person driving the car.

Officers later obtained video of the involved vehicle and have since released surveillance images of the car, which is missing a hub-cap on the front right tire, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the car or may have relevant information is asked to contact Natick Police at 508-647-9520. Area residents are also being asked to review their surveillance footage from the say day as the incident. In addition, anonymous tips can also be sent online
