Gould's Distinctive Clothing, located in Gould's Plaza, is selling the last of their inventory after the store announced they would be closing for good on Wednesday, May 31. WBZ NewsRadio's Kim Tunnicliffe said staffing issues after the pandemic forced the business to close.
For decades, Gould's was the place for people to craft their own unique style while also picking up tuxedo rentals and sales.
"Very sad to get an email from the store that they are closing after 40+ years in the business," one Yelp reviewer said. "Their knowledgeable, friendly staff were always great to work with, and their customer service was excellent."
"Went here to get a suit for my son's prom and selected Gould's based on good reviews - they did not disappoint," another reviewer said. "They spent plenty of time working with my son to properly measure him and help select all the options on colors and styles...Really good experience."
